Time for a poll people. America’s favorite comic book villain, the Joker, has captivated audiences for decades, spanning generations. Going back to the 40’s when DC comics first introduced the Joker as the archenemy to the famed Batman, to the tv version of the 60’s, and most recently the late Heath ledger’s Academy award winning portrayal of the master criminal-comics to movies, the Joker is one of the most iconic & recognized villains in popular media. Which one is your favorite.
This was the first Joker for me and still high on my favorite list. Played by Jack Nicholson, this movie & Joker will go down as one of the best. We have to remember Jack did it before Heath.
Classic quotes
“wait till they get a load of me”, “have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight”, “Why didn’t anyone tell me he had one of those…things?!” and “Remember me? When you dropped me into that vat of chemicals? That wasn’t easy to get over, and don’t think that I didn’t try.” And, of course, my favorite, “…we’ll be like Beauty and the Beast. Of course, if anyone else ever calls you beast, I’ll rip their lungs out.”

Classic performance and Heath Ledger definitely pushes the envelope. Lots of action with some inspiration drawn from the previous movie. All an all intense from beginning to end.
Classic quotes
“why so serious”,”Wanna know how I got these scars?”, “When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve.”, “Never start with the head, the victim gets all fuzzy”
