Sister Speaks On Nicki Minaj

“Do people take her seriously? I’m not being funny. I’m just asking a question.”

Kid Sister is the latest female rapper to express their feelings on Onika Maraj, better known to the world as the Young Money affiliate Nicki Minaj.

As previously reported dance team judge/ Brooklyn rapper Lil Mama stated that she did not represent the image portrayed by Minaj and pledged to encourage young girls to respect themselves.

Now Kid Sister, who was co-signed by Kanye West on her single “Pro Nails” is speaking on the female MC with arguably the hottest buzz in the game right now.

In a recent interview with Honey Magazine, Kid Sister was asked about Nicki Minaj and being named alongside the Barbie as a female rapper to check for. She responded saying,

“I think Nicki Minaj is awesome. She has a cute little look but my thing is do people take her seriously? I’m not being funny. I’m just asking a question. That whole thing like I want more cheese, lots and lots of cheese, do people make fun of her?”

She also made sure to add more seriously,

“Nobody makes fun of me.”

In all honesty, I highly doubt Kid Sister was trying to diss Nicki but come on girl, you’ve gotta be more careful with your words.

Now it just sounds like you’re throwing shade.
