Michele McNair, widow of the slain former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, said that her husband left no will and was granted, by a Nashville judge, as overseer of his estate.

Michele listed herself and two sons, Tyler and Trenton, as heirs to McNair’s estate. The late quarterback has two other sons from a previous relationship.

Judge Randy Kennedy, Davidson County Probate, granted Mechelle McNair’s request to administer the estate and allowed her 60 days to report inventory of her late husband’s assets. She says is unsure of her late husband’s worth, but documents contend it is “of sufficient size to be administered.”

McNair was shot to death as he slept on July 4 by his mistress who later turned the gun on herself. Nashville police have determined the case was a murder-suicide.
